Default Windows XP Firewall

When I turn on my computer it gives me a pop that the firewall is not turned
on. I have to go into the control panel and turn it on, but why doesn't it
automatically come up at start up?

If you wait - does it come on without you doing anything?

Windows XP _____ Edition with Service Pack _ __-bit?

What antivirus software do you use?

What antispyware software do you use/have you scanned with lately?

What all do you have starting up with the computer/when you logon?

Type "services.msc" at the Run promp and check to make sure the Windows
Firewall Service set to "Automatic".
