error code: 80048820 signing into windows live messenger

Default error code: 80048820 signing into windows live messenger

i've tried everything from date/time, registering dll's to clean install but
nothing works i still get the same error withut any extended error codes.
kindly help. thanks in advance

Default error code: 80048820 signing into windows live messenger

if its the same problem that i had and WLM doesnt login it just says it is
then stops , then see if u have Ninvidia forceware network drivers in
add/remove programs and that seems to stop the new versions from working so
just remove it. i did and now mines working fine
