Can't print a document from Wordperfect 11

i am no longer able to print a document from wordperfect, but i can print from other applications such as wordpad or emails. (this has just happened recently, i was able to print from wordperfect but it has just stopped working) i did try reinstalling the printer, but this has not helped. my guess is that the problem is with the application and not windows, but how do i fix an application problem. what other information could i give that might help figure out this problem.
