Default Password Crisis, Please Help!

I use a computer with Windows XP, connected to the Internet through a wired
network. It's in a non-profit office with no tech support help. Usually,
when I start up my computer, I get a log-on screen, with "owner" in the
username and the password blank. I just click on "OK" and everything is
fine. Today when I got the log-on screen, both the username and password
were blank. I tried putting in "owner" and leaving the password blank, but
it keeps telling me it's an invalid password. I don't have a password! What
do I do? Thanks for your help.
Sincerely,
Confused and Bewildered

try entering Administrator in the user field .. leave the password blank
then click enter...
Administrator with no password is the default user when OS is installed.
Most do not change this setting so it remains active

Once you get in, go to users and reestablish your user account.

Default Password Crisis, Please Help!

Hi Jeff - Thanks for the quick feedback, but that didn't work either. As far
as I know it has always come up as Owner without a password, but regardless,
neither Administrator or Admin worked. Any other suggestions for a desperate
clueless soul?
