I have found the Notification Icon on the lower right of the taskbar
useful. However one of the things that would be nice to access from
that icon would be the the Devices and Printer folder.

Is there a way to add things to the notifications? (Settings,
Notifications and Actions, Add or Remove quick actions.)

There may be a way to hack something onto that, but you should be able
to already get to those areas, since "All Settings" includes them.

I was looking for two step access.

There is a table of CLSIDs here.

https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/...dows-10-a.html

Devices and Printers {A8A91A66-3A7D-4424-8D24-04E180695C7A}

And this article, shows the addition of an icon to Explorer. There
are .reg files included for making the magic happen. The two lines from
the 64-bit file are shown.

https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/...dows-10-a.html

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Explorer\MyComputer\NameSpace\{A8A91A66-3A7D-4424-8D24-04E180695C7A}]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\ Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MyComputer\NameSpa ce\{A8A91A66-3A7D-4424-8D24-04E180695C7A}]

Now, all you have to figure out, is whether they
can be pinned or not :-)

Only way I've seen to do that is to have an external device plugged in.
The icon for "Safely Remove Hardware" has a right click menu with a link
to the "Devices and Printers" folder.

That icon is always up on my system because I have an external drive
attached. It will also come up if you attach a flash drive.

I know of no way to make it appear in the system tray on its own.

Not exactly what you want but try all settings/devices/printers and
scanners, right click and pin to start.

Try god mode, very useful even for atheists like me.

That is what I was looking for. I had done this on my old computer but
had forgot how I did it.

Still would be nice to have it on the notification screen.
