Default DEP execution error on single avi file

The problem is as follows:
- i have many avi files majority from the same source
- one file gives the dep error
- seems to happen when explorer is trying to show a thumbnail
of the file
or some kind of preview
- i am able to quickly play the file which works fine but with
he error
message in front of it

I have tryed turning the DEP off but that has no effect and no viruses
are present on the pc thank you for your help.

Not a solution ...just a couple of ideas.....

The following article may be useful for disabling DEP:

Windows Vista -
How to Enable or Disable DEP in Vista
http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/12...e-disable.html

Sounds like the .avi may be corrupted in some way.

It may be worth a try to import it into Super and resave
it in the .avi format...maybe by some miracle the new
file will work.

SUPER © Simplified
Universal Player Encoder & Renderer

(the mirror download site is faster)
