Default Log On Problems

I just reinstalled XP on my computer, formatted the whole
drive and all that fun stuff, but now XP wants me to log
in every single time I start my computer. I am the only
user on the computer, and I am the admin, so shouldn't it
automatically go into windows without me having to click
on my name every time I want to get in there?
I tried to edit the registry, and it worked for one
reboot, but now it has come right back, and I'm not sure
why. The registry hasnt changed since I messed with it,
but it still wants me to log in.

Any suggestions?

Hi

Try this:

From StartRun type in

control userpasswords2

then uncheck 'Users must enter a user name and password to use this =
computer' and click 'Apply'. On the next screen - 'Automatically Log =
On' - delete the name 'Administrator' from the User name box and enter =
your account name and then the password in the next two boxes. OK your =
way out and then reboot your system.
