"Send To" file tab
Hi Joe,
To access the sendto folder, go to Start - Run and type Sendto then press enter. "Send To" file tab
Hello,
I have my sendto folder set up the way I want it, but when I actually right click a file and select "send to" I get a list of the locations I previously specified in addition to some other entries that I do not want there, such as my F, G, H, and I drives which are MMC/SD, CompactFlash, SmartMedia, and MS/MS Pro (removable disks, if that helps). How can I remove these useless entries? Thanks, Scott "Bert Kinney" wrote: Hi Joe, To access the sendto folder, go to Start - Run and type Sendto then press enter. "Send To" file tab
Does anyone have an answer for this?

"Send To" file tab
I'm not a tech. My guess is: one of the SEND TO folders has links for
those unwanted items. Find them and delete them -- the shortcuts, that is. Make sure you can see hidden & system files. Go to your Documents and Settings folder. Search for SEND TO. Open each folder and look at the links. Delete the ones you don't want. Pay particular attention to the send to folder in ALL USERS and the send to folder in the profile you're using. If there aren't any shortcuts to the unwanted drives in there, then maybe another program has a different way to add to your right-click SEND TO items. If another program messed up your SEND TO list, then you might be able to remove them by checking the preferences or options in those programs. If that doesn't work, you could try to edit the entries yourself, either in the registry (be careful!), or with a tool such as Shell Extension Viewer -- SHEXVIEW.EXE -- by Nirsoft. I can't remember the download location, but I bet Google would know. Use it carefully; if you disable the wrong menu entries, your computer can start acting weird. If you can find the right entries with SHEXVIEW, you might try disabling just one entry per day. Of course, you'll make restore points first, right? Hopefully someone with more expertise will answer, but since you bumped I thought I'd add my 4 cents worth (inflation).
