The install wizard for SP1 recommends "backing up" the system before
installing What exactly needs to be backed up? Should a restore point be created? thanks |

Recommended backup is so you can uninstall SP1, if problems occur. A
restore point is usually created automatically. Folders on your C: $NTUninstall are backups of WinUpdates you installed. "CM" wrote in message ... But, DO NOT depend on a restore point alone to recover your system in case of problems. A verified backup is best. thanks Have fun. |
