Default USMT - Not recognize files.

I hav saved data from old pc running XPSP3 Italian (x86), with all updates,
via USMT on an external HD. After a clean installation of OS with all updates
i've tryed to restore data from z:\USMT2.UNC folder but the utility says with
no data. The folder contains IMG00001.DAT and suatus files. Also I've copied
folder on c:\ but I had the same response.
I have read also KB896344 but the patch is not applicable to
localized-italian XP.

Can anyone help me?

Default USMT - Not recognize files.

Please take note that you must point to the location of USMT2.UNC nor to
folder USMT2.UNC.
Example: If files are stored in "c:\document and
settings\administrator\desktop\USMT2.UNC" you must select only the following
path "c:\document and settings\administrator\desktop".
