MSMSGS.EXE or MSNMSGR.EXE?
Greetings,
To answer the evitable other question, although it's best to keep Windows Messenger as its required for Remote Assistance, Whiteboard and Application Sharing, you can at least turn it off from starting up. To do so, click Start, then Run, entering "msmsgs" and clicking OK. When Windows Messenger starts, click the Tools menu, then Preferences, uncheck the option at the top to start the program automatically and click OK. -- Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Live Messenger/MSN Messenger/Windows Messenger Associate Expert http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/ Messenger Resources - http://messenger.jonathankay.com All posts unless otherwise specified are (c) 2007 Jonathan Kay.
