To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it and answer yes to the import prompt. I guess I have a unique instance then, because rebooting didn't correct anything. Checking and unchecking the boxes in the taskbar settings didn't fix anything either. It wasn't till I went in to tweakui and checked and unchecked a box in there that things got back to normal. Either way, I'm all set now. --Jim "Kelly" wrote in message ... Did you manually check the registry to see that each edit had been applied?
Is save settings on exit applied? Can the tips you are trying to disable - be disabled?
