Computer severly hooped
My friend was playing with the "Narrator" accessiblity
option and the computer locked up. Upon rebooting it, it would constantly restart itself upon reaching the "Windows XP Professional" boot screen. I have GoBack installed which would often bring up an error, "Disk error or hardware error....", something to that effect. When I tried to rollback to a previous system setting, it would either fail or keep rebooting. When I select the "Last Known Good Configuration" option in the Windows boot options, it would do the same thing. I can't get to Safe Mode or a command prompt either. I was going to reinstall XP on my then C drive only to find it's been changed to the E drive. Unfortunetly Windows says it can't reinstall onto that disk. Please, please, please someone help me fix this. I have no idea what the heck is happening... |
