Default "dinst.exe" error

Despite my best efforts to get rid of it I still keep getting the
"dinst.exe" error message that has been referred to elsewhere. I have
been told this is spyware. I have tried an antivirus program,
Ad-Aware, SpyBot and CWShredder and also going into the Registry by
typing "regedit" and deleting any reference to it. It always comes
back. I'd appreciate any further suggestions. Has anyone actually
gotten rid of this? Thanks

Are you using Ad-aware SE v1.06 and SpyBot Search and Destroy v1.4 ?

After the software is updated, I suggest scanning the system in Safe Mode.

I also suggest downloading, installing and updating BHODemon for any Browser Helper Objects
that may be on the PC.
