u dont want it! i tried a beta version had to reinstall
internet explorer,problems with compatibility on norton
firewall,antivirus and live update,it slows your computer
down quite a lot. once i uninstalled it i had no
problems.apparently its being unleashed june

And it won't uninstall properly. But it's still early, the released
version should have some fixes I hope? I've heard MUCH later than
June.

Of course you had all those problems, What did you expect when you
installed it? What you got was, after all, BETA!!!

SP2 runs perfectly on my computer.
Following programs run without problems:
Adware v6
AVG v6 free
BID v3.6 ccb
Ethereal v.10.0
MBSA v1.2
MSIE
NAV 2003
NIS 2003
Office 2000
Office 2003
Outlook Express
SAVCE v8.1
SuperScan
Syslog
TCPView
WS_FTP98 LE
ZA free v 3.1.395

Only problem program so far:
Netstumbler v3.23

Part of the problem is when you install sp2 beta.

People need to do the following.
Disconnect or unplug your internet connection.
Disable all 3rd party software like virus scanners, firewall e.t.c. In
services.msc

Install xpsp2.exe
Reboot
Ignore security center warnings,
enable all 3rd party software like virus scanners, firewall e.t.c. in
services.msc
Reboot
You can now restore you internet connection.

However,
I am back to using xp sp1, because I get more incoming port request
from my firewall. I will try xp sp2 final if it ever released.
