Default NEED HELP WITH TRYING TO GET INTO MS DOS PROMPT!!!

I NEED QUICK HELP IN TRYING TO GET INTO A DIRECTORY FROM
MS DOS PROMPT. I CAN GET INTO THE DOS PROMPT AT THE C:
PROMPT. BUT I DO NOT REMEMBER THE CODE TO GET INTO MY
(HOMEWORK DIR) I TRIED (C:\HOMEWORK.DIR NO LUCK. I NEED
HELP PLEASE CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT I NEED TO DO TO GET
INTO THAT DIRECTORY.

Debra,
You can us the CD command to change directories.

For example:

C:\ CD \HOMEWORK
will change the current directory to C:\HOMEWORK.

Is there a reason why you can't just use the Windows Explorer to get to your
homework?
