Move GoogleDrive
Win XP Pro
GoogleDrive is buried in MyDocuments. How can I move it to a more visible position in Windows Explorer. Yes, I know I can access it via the taskbar but I want it easier for me. |

Move GoogleDrive
AIOEUSER,
How can I move it to a more visible position in Windows Explorer. Two distinctive ways ways: 1) Find the folder and cut-and-paste or drag-and-drop it to where you want to have it 2) Make a shortcut to where the folder currently is. Both have their potential drawbacks. For #1 it is that when you move the folder elsewher there might be configurations pointing at he old location, and than the whole thing will not work anymore (mostly solvable by moving the folder back -- but not always). For #2 it is that a shortcut doesn't fully behave as the item its actually pointing at (can't remember the exact ways in which it differs) Hope that helps.
