Default Unable to Fix Key Ports

I recently downloaded Internet Explorer 7 and installed it. After this I
tried to sign into Windows Live Messenger. I was told that Messenger ran into
a problem. I troubleshot this problem and the program found that my Key Ports
needed repairing. I clicked on “repair” yet my key ports never fixed
themselves. Sooner or later MSN Explorer would pop up if I used Messenger or
even IE7. I found that if I had uninstalled IE7 that not only would MSN
Explorer stop appearing every time I clicked on Messenger or IE7, but I could
sign into Messenger! Also, I think I should mention that IE7 never loaded a
single page if I had clicked on it.

Finally (sorry but I thought I should explain what happened first) my
question is:
“How do I make Internet Explorer 7 and Windows Live Messenger work in
unison and stop MSN Explorer from popping up every time I wish to use them?”

Thanks for any help!

Jiao

PS: Please if you have the same problem do not reply to this post because
whenever someone does none of the “Microsoft Helpers” reply when they see
that there is already a reply to the post! [This happened before]
