When I’ve got the internet open (to more than one page), and I
"Alt+Tab" to see which pages are where, sometimes there is this
(what appears to be) Application icon. But when I stop on it, nothing
appears. So, I just hit "Alt+F4" to close it out. Any idea what this
phantom app is? Kirk

This may be a Trojan Horse, or something similar transmitting your
activities while online, especially if this appears only with certain
regularly-visited pages. May be time for a real thorough virus san. Other
possibilities exist and hopefully will be sent in response.

I do have anti-virus on my computer. I’ll give it a go and see. I
thought I’d done it since I began seeing this, but just in case. No
harm in trying. I’ll report back. Hopefully, no trojans here. Kirk

PS - I also have my mcafee privacy service running and it shows the
current apps running. All looks fine there. I was also wondering if it
could be my pop-up stopper. It seems to appear when that is activated,
but I can’t say every time. I’ll keep checking. Thanks for your reply.
