Default lightweight streaming protocol (LSP) conflicts

Hi,

I was wondering if somebody here can tell me where I can find out more about
lightweight streaming protocol (LSP) conflicts.
A friend recently told me of a conflict with Imsecure and his NOD32 AV
software.
When he contacted support they told him, that the issue was a LSP conflict
and that this protocol has not implemented well but numerous vendors and
therefore conflicts were pretty common.
So before installing Imsecure myself I wanted to find out more about LSP and
conflicts (also to learn, since I always like to broaden my horizon ...)
So where would be a god place to find out more about LSP and conflicts,
programs that use LSP and so on...

Thanks so much for your help and I hope I did not post at the wrong forum.
You can reply to the posting or mail me since I don't check newsgroups that
often.

Thanks again,

Rob
