Then why are you replying to a Linux troll?

Actually, this thread was started by a Wintroll pretending to be a
Linux booster.

Wrong.

Are you so ignorant that you've not heard of a filibuster?

Your needs must be very rudimentary.

That's true of a lot of people actually.

Although what's still unaddressed is just what am I supposed to be
missing exactly? I've got copies of Windows 7 and Snow Leopard and no
interest in running either one of them. Linux simply does not look bad
next to them (despite all the lies to the contrary).

Isn't it amazing how, when you ask these WinTrolls what exactly Windows
does that Linux doesn't, they only come up with snide nothing? Just
Microsoft FUD, they don't even know why they are parroting it anymore.

Yeah, you're really "stable" there, "Frank."

Which is why I wrote "becoming" inconsequential. You'll have to admit
their "big events" are not nearly as big as they used to be.

They only had 60 votes for a short time. And the Republicans used
blocks and secret blocks to bring the Senate to a halt. The crazy
Senate rules allow a single senator to block a vote (even a vote for
cloture) without having to identify himself.

Bug

A year and a half is a short time? They could have passed anything they
wanted. Their legislation was blocked or delayed by fellow democrats!
The kings of filibuster were the democrats during 6 of the Bush years.

If that is the case, why didn't they filibuster the health care debacle?

I value my time also -- that's why I like Linux. Faster booting, less

disk
thrashing when the OS is booted, no anti-malware or anti-virus worries

(no
lost time to the constant updates required for those applications) and an
easy path to updating the OS *and* the applications all at the same time
with one command.

Nothing like that in the Windows world.

I use Windows (7) because the programs I use run under Windows.

BTW no problem, no crash, no BSOD, some bugs in one program but nothing to
do with Windows.

In short: A happy windows user, like 90% of desktop computer users
worldwide!

The Linux advocates all have access to Windows but they will not admit it.
