Default administrating Messenger.

New User:

I have very little understanding of Messenger,
I would like to be able to place Messenger
under say "Guest" user with a password
so I may vet my sons time/usage on messenger.

At the moment it's under his user account
and I cannot find any shortcut icon.

advice please,

is there a link giving a simple overview
of messenger , as I wish to
set it up so my wife may talk to her
relatives in Thailand.
Thanks very much.
