Default Is IE critical update needed on IE6 XP

Regarding the recent IE critical update KB960714, I see some references to
that fact the IE 6 (on XP and Win2K3 Server) are also affected. I have not
been able to find a patch to download for these version of IE (just W2K).

The WinXP workstations have auto-update turned off (dont want users doing
updates by themselves) and I plan to if needed go around and update the WS
today manually and would like to have the patch on a thumb drive.

All WS are WinXP Pro SP3. IE 6

Thanks

If you don't want AU to update your clients, you should be using WSUS to do
it, Jack.

Yes, KB960714 applies to all currently-supported IE and Windows versions.
See http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sec.../ms08-078.mspx (which
includes Direct Download links).
