windows messenger 5.1 and adobe reader

Default windows messenger 5.1 and adobe reader

i thought everything was fine with the windows messenger
5.1, but now everytime i try and use the adobe reader,
windows messenger 5.1 tries to re-install and i can't do
that and the adobe reader never opens. any help woud be
great.

i have now uninstalled the messenger, but it still tries
to install everytime i open the adobe. why can't it just
disappear?

I'm pretty sure there's a bug in the newest release of Messenger which
is screwing up Windows Installer. If you're still getting the Windows
Installer messages, you haven't properly uninstalled WM5.1.

Click Start - Run and enter the following:

Msiexec /x {C3A6819F-62D3-4750-AF1C-28206DDF2C2E}

(You'll need to be an admin for this to work)

Once you've done this, you should be able to reinstall WM5.1 and all
will be well again :-)
