Default operating hotmail

To anybody out there.

I just set up my .NET passport and started using hotmail
for the first time this morning. I immediately saw that I
had an email message waiting for me, and, surprise, it was
a message directly from MSN offering me 3 (count them)
pages of fabulous offers on things like ladies' lingerie,
but, well, since I really can't get into women's
underwear, I decided to delete the message,

AND I CAN'T. I CAN'T DELETE THE STUPID MESSAGE. HOW TO YOU
DELETE HOTMAIN MESSAGES WHEN YOU'RE DONE WITH THEM? HUH?

Any suggestions would be gratefully accepted.

There should be an option to delete it, mark it as junk
mail, etc etc. Also, in options, go to filters and make
sure you haven't checked any boxes to get such emails from
Hotmail or MSN.
