Microsoft works no longer works
When I try to retrieve files from Works I get the message "Works cannot find
the files needed to complete th task. The files may be missing or corrupted. Reinstall Works." I went to help and support on my comutor and "thought" I reinstalled Works (which came preinstalled) but I have had no luck. I don't know what to do. |

Hello,
To reinstall Works, 1) Locate the CD and the product key (if you have, not sure whether works requires this) 2) Start Control Panel Add/Remove Programs Remove Microsoft Works (try the repair option if it is available, if not just uninstall it) 3) "reinstall" Works by inserting the CD and installing from there -- Singapore Computer Service http://www.bootstrike.com/ComputerService/ "Kim" wrote in message ... What brand PC did you get. Dell, Compaq and HP provide either the disk or access to these
pre-installed files. If not that, then you are about to buy a new copy of Works. "Kim" wrote in message ...
