Default OT? Keyboard strokes to delete IE 10 files.

Hello all,
Here a while back I was having trouble with my webpage change in that
when I made the change on the webpage the changed it and reflect when
I tried to open it up in Internet Explorer 10. I know to go into
Internet options and delete the files but that wasn't working.

I was talking to a tech support and I honestly don't remember who in a
just casually mention this trouble I was having any kind they giggled
and pointed out a keyboard remedy that was so simple I didn't think I
needed to write it down. Well, guess what I should have.

Does anyone here have that information about how to do this on the
keyboard?

Not entirely clear from the description what the problem is, but might
the answer have been ctrl-F5 to force a page refresh?

It is (maybe) possible to put HTML in a web page to force it to always
refresh, but of course, it won't work in the unrefreshed page until you
get the new one to load. That's when Andy Burns's remark will help :-)

IIRC, it's only effective in IE, and I don't even know if it is needed -
or if so if it works - in later versions.

Here are two links from my notes (caveat: I didn't look at them today,
so I haven't seen them for a year or more):

Right after I posted this I stumbled across the "ctrl-F" but it still
won't refresh the webpage. I got to noticing that when I opened up
IE-10 just for an instant it shows two (2) if the top of the page and
then one is replaced with Google. I don't know if that has anything to
do with it but right now it's really not imperatives that I get this
taken care of immediately.

Thanks for the input

Unfortunately the information on the two websites seem to be a little
above my expertise level but I thank you for your posts.

Hi, Albert.

Right after I posted this I stumbled across the "ctrl-F" but it still
won't refresh the webpage.

That's not Ctrl+F, but Ctrl+F5. That's the FUNCTION key F5, in the
row above the number keys on most keyboards.

Ctrl+R might work as well. I seem to remember that from long ago when I
used Windows and IE.

Ctrl+F is for "Find" (in the page being viewed, and in thousands of other
applications).
