Default Microsoft Antispyware error log

I checked whether my drive needed defragging and the analysis showed the
errors.log file in the Microsoft Antispyware directory was more than 3,000
segments and 1.5GB. Antispyware has been running for a month with no
problems. I renamed the file and the replacement that appeared soon is
already 75MB. Surely this is a bug, but what do I know? Is this an
undocumented feature or what?

Something is amiss with your system or with the installation of the
Antispyware.

My errors.log file dates back to 6 Jan 2005 and it is 5 kb in size.

According to my copy the program version (Help - About) should be
1.0.501 and the definitions version should be 5697.

Good luck
