Default reinstallation

If I had to send away for a new processor and motherboard...same make and
model, and I want to reformatt my hard drive and reinstall windows, am I
going to have a problem reauthorizing windows xp. Is it going to think its a
different computer...everything else the same? maybe the addition of a dvd
burner.

I have done a "fixing" reinstall of weindows, but his will be my first
reformatt and "fresh" install.

thankx

Nope.

Just reinstall it and follow the prompts to Activate. At the most you'll
have to call an 800 number and tell them you replaced mobo and cpu - no big
deal.
