parsing error
One thing you might try is asking someone locally to look at your system with
the autoruns utility. -- Was this post helpful to you? Then click the "Yes" button, below. Voting helps others who use the web interface. Mark L. Don't see anything that looks like it shouldn't be there. Did try to remove the program again and received 'fatal error' message, once again something about parsing. "Mark L. I don't know what to take out and what to leave in. Some of those things I've never seen before. I'm afraid to do anything for fear I'll do it wrong and then the computer will be screwed up worse than before. Is there anything more simple? Bud "Mark L. AutoRuns for Windows v8.61: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sys.../Autoruns.mspx There are other utilities that also do this, and you might try one of those, if you don't like Autoruns, but something like this will solve the relic parsing error. -- Was this post helpful to you? I don't know how to remove the program if "add/remove" won't do it. My knowledge of a computer and its works is very basic. Can someone explain: parsing, parsing error, how to get rid of the program easily (and please don't suggest that I visit the Geek squad; those people know less than I do) Thanks |
