Default Norton AV 2005, picks up my soundcard as a network adapter

After installing Norton AV 2005, and then having to re-format my hard disc
for various reasons, and re-install everything, I have put AV2005 back onto
my machine, which runs quite happily with my network card, and sets up all
correctly, however, when i re-install my sound card, AV2005 picks it up as a
new network adapter, and subsequently i lose my network connection. I have
tried installing the card, and then installing AV2005 afterwards, but the
same effect happens....anyone got any good ideas????

NAV is software that scans for viri, trojans, worms, etc - it has nothing to
do with hardware - best to check on the Symantec website for problems with
NAV.
