I pretty much agree with John John on dumping the case for a new one. The power supply is old and may not support a new motherboard's power requirements. Putting in a new motherboard will require at the minimum a repair install to add all the new features. The hard drive is also old and if you are changing out the hardware anyway, a new larger drive should be included in the purchase anyhow. The old drive can be placed in the new system to copy off the data. |
