Start Menu Customization
Hi Wishy,
Please supply me with the following info: 1) The exact path of the file/folder that you want to target using the start menu OEM link. 2) The name that you want to appear on the start menu at the OEM link. 3) The info tip that you want to appear (optional) when you hover over the link. -- All the best, Anando "Wishy" wrote in message ... Yes I want to add my link there. PLease assist me with that. I do not find anything relevant to this in the Advanced Tab in the Properties of the Start Menu. Thank you for any help. Wishy -----Original Message----- Hi Wishy, Most OEMs put their suppost/start up guide links there, it is known as the manufacturer's link. The information for that link is stored in the registry at{HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{2559a1f6-21d7-11d4-bdaf- 00c04f60b9f0} If you want to add your link there then post back. -- All the best, Anando "Wishy" wrote in message ...
