How to increase virtual memory
Please note:
Things in the brackets are action signals. Like Right Click, Select, Click Tab, Click Button, so forth. [Right Click] My Computer [Select] Properties [Click Tab] Advanced [Click Button] Settings(Under Performance) [Click Tab] Advanced [Click Button] Change(Under Virtual Memory) [Select Drive] (Select the drive you want to add the virtual memory to.) [Check] (I would suggest to check System managed size as this would allow the system to automatically set the virtual size) [Click Button] Set (Under Paging file size for selected drive) [Click Button] OK (Virtual Memory Window) [Click Button] OK (Performance Options Window) [Click Button] OK (System Properties Window) Hope this helps. -----Original Message----- When I try to open a long Powerpoint presentation I get this message. "Increase the size of virtual memory paging file". How do I do this? . |
