Default How to remove sgnin/password thing.

I'm the only user so--- (and sorry for the repetrition ---)

I was told once to:

DesktopComputer(right click) Manage

then some more. BUT

Perhaps I somenow (certainly not intentionally) lost "Computer" .
I have no "Computer" on the desktop.

Try

control userpasswords2

and see if the control panel that pops up has a tick box for
login removal.

The only picture I could find, was in German.

So that tick box should be the one.

There is a tutorial here on desktop icons for Windows 8.

The icon the procedure puts back is "Computer", not "My Computer".
And the icon to expect, can be seen here.

When you open the Windows 8 "Computer", it looks like this.
It's not exactly the same as "My Computer" on WinXP.

They make Explorer replacements, but personally I won't be testing
a ton of these and messing up my OS. Even on my Windows 8.1 preview
disk.
