Default About upgrade from Win8.1 to 10

Just want to know that when Win10 will be released will I get as a
dowload a full Win10 because I have a Win8.1 licence? Or I have to first
install Win8.1 and then after that download Win10 on top of it? Can I do
a clean only Win10 installation as well if I want?

The reason am asking is because I have this installation problem with
Win8.1 that its not installing with SATA AHCI but only with IDE of it.
So just thinking that when Win10 arrives it might be able to understand
AHCI. So if I just use now this IDE and wait for Win10 and then try with
it. So hoping to get a full version of Win10.

No body knows, it has now been released and finalized yet. There are speculations in allllll directions.
At least none that I've seen and heard.

If there are no AHCI drivers in Win8 my guess would be there would be
none in Win10 either.

Did you check to see if drivers exist for Win7? If so they should work
with Win8. Just be sure you get the 32 or 64 bit according to your
installed OS

Windows 8.1 is required to obtain the free upgrade (in the first year).

It is doubtful that 10 will resolve your issues that you are having with
8.1.

Imo, 8.1 is not your problem. 8.1 (and 8.0 supports both modes AHCI and IDE.
- a clean install of 8.1 normally handles the SATA driver requirements
during the installation, if not then 8.1 provides the option to install
the mobo sata drivers (provided by the manufacturer not MSFT) during the
Win8.1 setup process but prior to installing Windows (i.e. the user must
select the proper option during the setup process - Windows will not do
this automatically). If the mobo manufacturer does not provide those
Sata drivers and Msft does not include them in 8.1 setup, then and only
then should the BIOS/UEFI be configured to IDE.
