Default Messenger & .Net passwords not synched

I've experienced the same problem in Windows Messenger
4.7.2009, with HTTP proxy connection.(It worked very well
until I install the update.)

However while I change proxy setting to use another
SOCKS4 proxy, the problem disappears... :S

-----Original Message-----
I've got a problem where Messenger won't log in

anymore.
Everything was working fine until I installed the latest
update to Messenger a few days ago. Now Messenger says
that the password is wrong, even though I can log into
Hotmail and MyMSN using my .Net passowrd without any
problems. I've tried logging in manually and entering
the password, but it still says that it's wrong.

Any ideas?
Thanks
.
