Default sign in confidentiality

Whenever I open Windows Messenger it automatically signs me straight in
without asking for my password. even though I have ticked the relevant box
under "confidentiality" (always ask for my password). Other members of my
family all use this same computer which means that when they open Windows
Messenger my account comes up (or the last account that was in use) and they
have to then sign in under their account. This means I have no
confidentiality. This happens even after I close my Windows session, come
off the Internet (I'm on dial-up) and go back on the Internet. Help please?
(in simple terms - I am a newcomer to messenging!)

Greetings,

To remove your saved Passport information from Windows Messenger, just click the Start
Button, then click the Control Panel. Then, click User Accounts in the Control Panel. Select
the Windows account name in question, and then on the left side of the screen, under Related
Tasks, click 'Manage my Network Passwords'. In the window that opens, click the
Passport.Net\* (Passport) entry and click 'Remove'.
