STRANGE..WHEN I TRY TO SIGN INTO MY GMAIL ACCOUNT, I GET A 'URL TOO LONG'
MESSAGE...AFTER I TYPE IN GMAIL.COM, THERE'S ABOUT A THOUSAND OTHER
LETTERS/SYMBOLS THAT JUMP IN AUTOMATICALLY AND WON'T GO TO GMAIL.COM....IT
ALSO SAYS IT'S 'REDIRECTING'....ANYBODY ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM?

What is with the all uppercase lettering?

Try this...

In Internet Explorer - in the address bar - erase anything already there and
type in:

http://www.gmail.com/

Press [ENTER].

Did that work?

If so - then you were just typing and allowing the system to remember
something you typed before (selecting it inadvertently from a drop-down).
If not - you may have a HOSTS file redirecting you elsewhere - possibly from
a malware infestation.

Change the date on your computer to the correct date and time. that should
fix it. sounds dumb, I know. But trust me, it works. even if its not wrong,
change it by a miniute or so and click "ok"
