does the win10 update history really includes everything?
I am finding it difficult to believe that the win10 update history
included all updates and/or patches. Especially today with the win10 anniversery version. Have booted up my computer after lunch, & the boot process took some time with the circle lights revolving, a blank screen, circle lights, logon screen (bypassed) then the welcome screen then the desktop. I've shutdown/started my computer about 3 times yesterday when running win10 anniversery. Checked the update history & see the no update history & a msg saying no updates has been done (like the win10 ann. is a new OS). Checked the privacy settings & see stuff turned on in the background apps line item display. Don't remember having "3D builder" but it is turned on; the "news", reader, reader list app & some other apps had the switch turned on. I have set all privacy settings to OFF & made sure of that after the win10 ann. install......something happened that win10 turned some privacy settings back on even tho I don't want any of the listed apps to be able to run in the background. So why wasn't the "update history" get updated? |

Anniversary edition is a NEW OS so you won't have any updates unless you have installed one that came out since you installed this new OS. -- If you want to filter all of my posts then please read this article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/organize-your-messages-using-filters In step 7 select "Delete" With over 350 million devices now running Windows 10, customer satisfaction is higher than any previous version of windows. |

The task bar settings to show what icons show on the task bar are now in a different location. In Settings it's easier to search for "task bar". Don't forget Windows 10 is for ****ing idiots that know nothing and don't know that something should be fixed. Improvements on broken stuff is their new motto. Ken1943 are you saying that win10 is still messing thing around AFTER 3-4 shutdowns & boot-ups after the install? So I will need to check to see what happens for several more days??? Linux & OS X isn't much better. Both got some problems in my view & experience. |
