Default Extract file info etc into a DB - WinXP Pro

I now have over 300 films and some home video etc mostly stored as mpeg2
(mpg) files and have added
"Title","Author","Comments","Subject","Category"," Source" to each file.

I now want to create a database but need to find a way to extract the file
info fields rather than sit for hours retyping it.

Any suggestions

M

One or more of these show up in several Google results to the
search string:
mpeg2 meta data
