Likely a wise choice made by you or some other administrator at some point - to prevent the installation of things unintentionally (trojans, viruses and the likes.) Why don't you just log off, log back on as a user with adminstrative rights, install the game, log off and log back into the account that you use daily? Your computer is setup in the way it should be for most people - where the users of said computer are not system administrators/power users and cannot install software because of that. This protects them, their data and the computer as a whole quite effectively. -- Shenan Stanley MS-MVP -- How To Ask Questions The Smart Way http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html |
