Problema Notebook e Stampante. help!
Ciao,
Grazie |

I don't recommend disabling IPV6, unless you read a few tutorial articles on the subject. If disabled the wrong way, it can cause networking problems. Read up on the topic, if that's the solution you choose to test. I may be taking the comment above out of context, but disabling IPv6 (or IPv4) is easy and painless. Open the Network and Sharing Center Click on Change Adapter Settings Right click on the appropriate network adapter, select Properties Uncheck the box beside the appropriate protocol, IPv6 or IPv4 Click OK Re-enabling is just as simple. |

I've just checked the test machine running Win8.1, and I've already unticked that box. I think the reference might have been to *deleting* the entry, rather than unticking it. There is some operation like that, which causes more damage than you'd expect, and at the time, I could find some references to a right way and a wrong way of doing it. It appears IPV6 is unticked on that OS install already, so I must have fixed that a while back. At the current time, IPV6 would not buy me any advantages here. Paul |
