internal error 33400
Hi,
I have used a new computer running Windows XP for a while. One of my applications which has run before just started to return an error box saying System Error Internat Error 33400. When I close the error box, the application closes. So the application nolonger runs successfully. Can anyone start me on the path of how to trouble shoot this sitiuation? I am working in a Novell Netware 6 environment and I call the application off a Novell server. I also have ZenWorks for Desktops 3.2.1 running on the desktops. Thanks for your help. Jay |

Manda,
We are running AND Complex for Winodows Version 2.5 (Copyright 1995). It is a database searching application which we use to search a database of classical bibliographies. Jay Manda Luyong wrote: What application is giving you the error? |

Looks like a proprietary software. I did a quick search and can't come up
with anything. I would suggest that you contact the author/software manufacturer for assistance. "J. Hauben" wrote in message ... Thanks Manda I am in the process of trying to contact the vendor's technical
support people. Jay Manda Luyong wrote: Looks like a proprietary software. I did a quick search and can't come up with anything. Jay,
We have same problem with AND Complex, ver 2.0. By changing the default printer with an "old one", it works. But for our users, it's not convenient ... Did you find a solution ? Your hint was the right clue for me. I realized I had changed my default printer to a Brother MFC-... USB type, which I had not suspected to cause this problem, but it did. Now I changed back to HP Laserjet IIID as default printer and the program works fine again. For other users I suggest installing a dummy printer from the Win-XP included driver list using an HP Laserjet 4, 5L or 6P or similar and setting it as the default printer. Many other older printer drivers and possibly some new ones will work too. It just needs some testing to establish. Canon Bubble-Jet BJC-4300 works fine too. Cheers, Nils |
