Default Multiple webcam installation in 1 PC

Hurm.....does anybody out there know how to configure or set up multiple webcam in 1 PC??have any idea....looking forward to hear from expertise here ..plz help me..i'm in desperate need of the info..currently doin my thesis for need of graduation..
