Default How to change a typed sentence into a JPEG?

Hello XP-Brains,
Suppose I type on a WordPad proverb like "Silence is golden" . This
is just on one line on a whole WordPad page . How do I change this
into a JPEG image, i.e. "Silence is golden" , in black, written in a
little white rectangle?
More difficult . The same question with the same proverb typed using
the Russian letters?
There must be someone who knows the trick.
By the way, I'll be happy with an answer to my first question , viz.,
for a sentence written using the usual Roman letters.
Thanking you in advance,
Yours,
Urban

Don't use Wordpad, use Paint instead.

Type what you want in WordPad and size and style it the way you want (for
the Russian characters you need a Russian font.)

Once you have it typed, Start any paint program (Microsoft Paint in XP or
Vista works.

In WordPad press and hold Ctrl & press the A key to highlight the text then
press the Ctrl + C key (or click edit, copy) to place the information in the
clipboard.

Go to Paint and with a blank background showing press Ctrl + V (or click
Edit, Paste. This will put your text into Paint. To resize the physical
image in Paint click Image, Attributes and play with the Width and Height
until the text is just in the white background area. Save as your JPG
image.

You can also use the Paint program's text box to do basically the same
thing.

I use Word Art in Word or PowerPoint to create really neat effects on text
and then create the JPG files the same way for headings in various projects
I have done.

Prepare text in wordpad THEN
hit Ctro&Alt&PrintScrn at the same time. This puts the IMAGE into the
clipboard.

then Start Microsoft Paint

and click "Paste". Now select the part you want to keep and click "Copy".

THen click "file|new" - when you have a blank screen click "Paste".

Now click "File|save as" and choose 'jpeg'.

It would be much easier to use an image creation utility in the first place.
That way there's only one step.

If you use Wordart in Powerpoint to create a slide, you can "Save As" a JPEG
format. No real need to open a paint program at all. Powerpoint will also let
you ungroup the letters in the wordart, and allows you to place them where
you want the on the slide. Which was a little tricky my first time, but
didn't take too long to get accustomed to it. It gives you a little freedom
as to how you want it positioned, outside of the wordart defaults.
