Default How to change the display icon for selected file(s)

The XP Pro changed all my adobe photoshop icons to
another program. How can I change them back? Cause: I
uninstalled and reinstalled Adoble Photoshop to check ICC
profiles. I must be able to change this default? Ath
first I had to use only Windows Picture and Fax viewer to
open and before that whatever this other program was that
I now don't know....shimguw that I removed from Windows
System 32.

Also, whenever I double-click on a folder the SEARCH
window appears. Now I must right key, select open to
open. How can I change this?
