Default Default clean up system files in W7's Disk Cleanup?

Hello.

Is there a way to get clean up system files option to show up by default
in Windows 7 (W7)'s disk cleanup?

Thank you in advance.

Ant,

You can run this command:

Start--Run-- cleanmgr.exe /AUTOCLEAN

This site shows all the available parameters.

It says it is for Windows 10 but runs on Windows 7 fine

Thanks. I'd prefer a GUI screen so I can select options too.

Ant,

You do get a GUI screen! Try it!

If you read the page I linked you can fine-tune what options you want.

I find cleanmgr.exe /AUTOCLEAN works well enough.

You could create a shortcut on the Desktop for future uses.

BTW for it to run properly you must Run as Administrator.

Start--Run--cmd and right-click on cmd.exe and click Run as

Administrator. Then type cleanmgr.exe /AUTOCLEAN

You can create a shortcut and specify Run as Administrator.
