Default Set "details" as default view in FileOpenDialog ?

A lot of programs use the FileOpenDialog to select one of more files for
loading and saving.

The default view is "Thumbnails". Is there a way to set "Details" permanently (!)
as default view ?

Your "My Pictures" folders have that default. Other forders can be set to
default to it, and/or 'remember setting. Set your C: root folder to details,
then go to tools menu, Folder Options, View tab, and click the 'Apply to all
folders" button.

All other folders besides the My Pictiures will obey this, and the My
Pictures view setting can be set and remember individually. Folder Options
also has a checkbox on the View tab to "Remember each folders settings"
