Hi,
I have windows 2000 installed and im using a cam and I can see images on my end. Problem is I have a relatives with windows XP and when they launch net meeting the following error comes up: "You cant accept this request because video and voice conversation is only available on windows XP. Please ask 'X' to send u a voice only request." Also video under the tools tab is greyed out on their end. How do they un grey that and tick to accept video? Thanks |

net meeting
Greetings Sean,
They're not launching Netmeeting -- they're launching Windows XP's Messenger client(s) built-in video support, which is something completely different. In fact, in the Windows XP version(s), by default, there is no "Start Netmeeting" -- you'll need to send the Start Netmeeting request yourself (just click the Actions menu, then Start Netmeeting). ____________________________________________ Jonathan Kay Windows MVP, Messenger Associate Expert http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/ Messenger Resources - http://messenger.jonathankay.com "Sean" wrote in message ...
